Francis Xavier Masseth

Migrated from Alsace to the United States in June 1832 with his wife Mary Ann and their two eldest children, settling first in Utica and then Rochester. Bought six lots in the Perkins & Schermerhorn tract in 1837 and built a house and nailsmith shop on the triangle bounded by Allen, King and Brown Streets.
