Edward Adam Masseth

Youngest son of Xavier and Mary Ann. His Centennial Pioneer Committee application is the source for the family's account of the Brown Street house — that his father made by hand every nail in it, and ran a blacksmith shop on the site whose bellows were worked by a dog-powered treadmill. Married in 1877 and took over the Plymouth Hotel in Rochester.
